Biography
Michael March represents taxpayers in cases involving alleged tax evasion, FBAR violations, and bank fraud, in federal district courts across Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, Florida, and the District of Columbia. He has managed civil tax controversies at every stage of administrative proceedings and before the U.S. Tax Court, including matters subject to parallel investigations by the IRS, the Department of Homeland Security, and the FBI.
As Co-Chair of the firm's Tax Section, he directs a practice that covers complex civil litigation, appeals, and white-collar criminal defense. He writes and speaks regularly on current enforcement priorities, including ERC disallowances, PPP fraud allegations, and protective refund claims.
